We provide comprehensive eye tests at My Eye Care, no referral is needed. If you have noticed change in your vision you may need to have an eye test.

Eye tests are bulk billed by Medicare.

As a general rule:

<65 years: entitled to one routine bulk billed eye test every 3 years.

>65 years: entitled to one routine bulk billed eye test every year.

However, your optometrist will determine the most suitable recall for your needs as this will depend upon any eye disease, change in vision or family history.

We don’t cover the cost of glasses or contact lenses. If you have private health insurance it may help pay for these, depending on your level of cover. Read more about private health insurance and Medicare.
